Making of my Home Network

Finally, I got a broadband connection from Asianet Data Line. Fortunately, they had an optical fiber network around my house. As I wished, I got a high speed connection. I think this is needed to use all the future technologies.

My next task was to setup a home network so that I can share internet among my devices and connect my devices together.

I had the following networking gears with me which was used in my previous home network with BSNL connection.An ADSL modem+ wifi router from DLINK, a wifi repeater from Netgear, 1 TB seagate USB disk, A wireless printer,2 laptops, 2 smartphones.  Now I have an internet TV and plan to add IP cameras and a DVR.

Asianet gave me a Fiber modem which has only a single ethernet port. So now the first task is to share internet among devices.

Initially, I thought, the ISP will assign different IP's to all my devices. So I just hooked up the single ethernet port to my ADSL+router and disabled the DHCP on the router. So the ADSL+router just acts as a bridge switching the data. It worked but with one problem. I can access only one device at a time. If I connect laptop, the internet connection on smartphone is lost.

Now, I have a problem to solve. And I like to solve problems. I realized, I need to connect only one device to internet and share that. The method is to use NAT ( Network address translation). The router will act as a ethernet WAN gateway. But the problem is what I have is an ADSL+router. It is meant to be used with a DSL connection( the telephone jack). And this particular DLINK 2750u doesn't have a designated WAN port where I can connect the ethernet cable from the fiber modem. Initially I was disappointed. This router is going to be an electronic waste in my tool room. I need to purchase another which will support ethernet WAN routing.

As usual, searched in google and to my surprise, I found that the router I have is actually capable of ethernet WAN routing in hardware. But they have this feature disabled in the Indian version their firmware. The other version that support this is the middle east firmware and Russian one.

Since I knew that Russians always reads and writes in their language and I don't know how to interpret, I turned to middle east firmware.I downloaded the firmware from middle east dlink site and flashed it ignoring all warnings that it could brick my router. For me its same since I can not use it unless I get ethernet WAN enabled on this. Its already a brick to me.

Flashing the firmware went well. I have the ethernet WAN option enabled in the web configuration interface. As per the instructions, I connected the WAN side ethernet cable to port 4 and configured the router.

I configured all my devices to access this wifi access point and now I have a shared internet connection. All the devices will have local IP addresses like 192.168.x.x and the router will translate all the internet traffic for me. And all my devices are interconnected in the local home network.

My router supports usb storage and it is shared using samba protocol. So now, all my devices can read/write files to the 1 TB networks share. ( speed is an issue since its USB, i should have an ethernet disk, but it expensive in current market to my use cases).

My wireless printers is on network. So I can print from laptops and phones. Printer is connected to internet so I can even print from anywhere in the world.

I wanted a way for my TV to access the network storage. Another problem to solve.  An here's how I solved it. Mapped the network storage on personal laptop as a drive. Configured DLNA media server on my personal laptop and pointed the library to the network drive. Now TV can read all the media in my network storage with one condition that PC should be up. But that's not a big deal for me.

As expected, another problem pitches in. The printer and the office laptop is at the first floor and wifi range is poor there. So, I hooked my wifi repeated midway somewhere midway between two locations. I used an app which will tell you the % of signal at a location. My wife was cluelessly watching me roaming around the rooms in the house. Now I have wifi range everywhere in my house. And my devices are configured to automatically to connect to the best access point available. So that creates an auto roaming facility. Interesting... isn't it.

Recently I moved to my new house. One of my tasks was to setup my home network.
The first thing I wanted was an internet connection. I approached the nearest BSNL office for a connection.
I was already using an expensive so called rural broadband.

The response funny, it was in fact like this. We have lot of pending faults to attend. I asked.. Is it feasible there? Line man...yes it is.
I asked, can you give in two weeks at least. Technician looks at line man... line man thinking.. too much.. smoke out of his ears.
He say's.... hmm.. we can give...but don't be in a hurry.. we have to dig up to find a line for you...there is no cable here.. you have to purchase it from outside..
Anyways... you call me later...he left. F**K.

I turned to the technician.. what he said ? I asked... He said.. I will give his mobile number...its unofficial.. you call him later and ask.
We need your support. He will try to come when he is free.. not week days... may be Sunday.. What???

Then that F**K'er gave me a lecture about how rural people use broadband..It seems locals don't know anything about bandwidth.. they simply start movie downloads and
goes out...waste of bandwidth.. they don't know anything about routers.. they don't switch of routers.. router gets heated up and when connection is lost we suffer.

Another employee enters the room fully drunk. He started discussing some personal matters with the technician. Its Monday morning 10AM. I am waiting..
I am already late for office. And these F**Ks are discussing petty personal matters.. ignoring a potential customer who is ready to pay 1000+ per month for broadband.

Dear BSNL.. why do you have employees like this? You are surviving such because of the infrastructure build with public money. Shame on you.

Review: Upgrading Android 4.3 on Google Nexus 4

Today when I got up in the morning, incidentally I checked the "Settings >About" page of my Nexus 4 phone as if I got a message from God(Google) last night via dreams. 

Do you usually check your phone settings as a first thing in the morning? This is the first time I am doing it in the morning.

Surprise…. I see that the new Android 4.3 update is available and it started downloading the update… Hurray!!

I was excited to see what’s new it? The update was 167.7 MiB to be precise. My mode is changed to “Curiosity” as always. The only next focus is to get this update downloaded and feel the difference.

With the 512 kbps unreliable BSNL broadband I managed to download and install the latest android 4.3 update by Midday.

After the upgrade I went through the release notes to see actually what’s inside.

I found, restricted profiles, multiple users, Low energy Bluetooth, and location detection without keeping wifi always on, virtual surround sound. Auto complete on dial pad, new algorithm for android key board etc.

But it is written there that some of these featured will work only on Android tablet.

I felt this release is mainly targeted at the Tablet users. There isn't any fancy new stuff for the smartphone users like me. Disappointed!

Apart from this Google claims perceived speed and usability. I didn't find any noticeable difference in speed. My Nexus is as fast as when bought. Not more not less.

After upgrading the OS. I immediately got an update notification for Google maps. I accepted it and when checked, I found the Google Navigation app is removed completely from my phone. Probably Maps and navigation is combined together in one app. Nice!

The biggest disappointment was that after upgrade my video players VLC player and MX player stopped working. Probably they are not written forward compatible. This was not expected from these people. I right away I filed bugs.

The default android video player does not play my torrent downloaded movies properly it’s like watching a stop motion or time-lapse recording… the moment I felt I should not have upgraded now.

Then I explored other apps to see if others are also broken. Fortunately other app were working fine. I have 65 apps. I went and checked each of them. So no major damage there.

My next attempt was to check the bug fixes. It looks like some bugs are fixed. I had a bug that switching profiles from mute to normal does not restore volume. This appears to be fixed in this release. There’s a notification bar freezing bug and a camera app bug I am yet to test and confirm. They were not reproducible always.

I checked the default camera…Ooohaa!.. The settings interface is totally revamped. I think Google realized that the earlier onscreen interface was really hard to use and error prone. They completely changed it. Now almost all camera features can be changed onscreen. The position of some buttons is also adjusted to be easily accessible close to the shutter button. And I found nothing new in the camera except camera settings interface.

New features on Android 4.3

-          Restricted profiles ( Tablet only )

-          Multiple users (Tablet only)

-          Support for low energy Bluetooth devices

-          No need to keep Wifi on for location detection using Wifi.

-          Virtual surround sound (Tablet only )

-          TV Wireless Sharing ( Tablet only )

-          Dial pad with auto complete

-          New improved (?) interface onscreen camera settings.

-          Open GL 3.0 for better graphics & gaming

-          Additional language support. Android is now translated in Hindi also.

-          Disabled apps tab in settings ( Tablet only )

-          Bug fixes.

What you will loose if you update now:

-          VLC player wont work

-          MX player won’t work

-          And any other app which depends on OS version won’t work.

Summary:

There’s nothing great in this update for phone users other than minor bug fixes and incompatible play store apps. Compared to 4.2 this update is very very minor.

My suggestion is to wait one more month before you try an upgrade to Android 4.3 Jelly bean. By that time you will have your play store apps upgraded to support the new OS version.

Tablet users can try the restricted profiles, multiple users, TV sharing and virtual surround.

Why Indians are not part of worlds greatest inventions?

Everybody in India knows that we do not innovate, we just follow the west.
But have you ever thought why?

Just think about a couple of inventions that changed the world.
Telescope, gravity, clock, telephone,electric power, bulb, rail, bus, train, bicycle, camera, computers, mobile phones, internet, Unix, windows, Facebook.if we go on listing...there are too many..

The question is why none of these come from India. Why not? Don't have have 5000 years of history, brilliant people, and the greatest education system in the world.

If your answer is excuses like,  British colonization or poor country, bad politicians etc in the past. I am sorry...We have everything now.We are well connected with the rest of the world. We have educated people,money, power everything. Still we do not innovate..

Even now, world is seeing a lot of innovations every now and then, whether we realize it of not.

During a coffee break, I discussed this with my friends and a our initial guess was that western countries are developed, rich. So they can afford to fund these inventions.Then we thought about Thomas Alva Edison. Who funded him? There was no money or govt. support for him.Then we thought their brain is genetically more creative than ours. But there was no basis to believe that because we are not that far behind.

Then we looked at it from a different angle. What is different between the west and India? Cultural difference!! But how cultural difference can be come the seed for innovations  We digged further... Innovations required a lot of focused and persistent effort. And the less limiting factors that you have, the more focused you become and that leads to innovations. When I talk about "focused", it doesn't mean focusing on one thing for 40 hours a weeks for 1 or 2 years. I am talking about focusing 24x7 for several years, may be 10 or more years.

Indians simply can't do that because of the close kit family structure we have. We have to support our wife, children, father, mother, sometime even grand parents. If I go on inventing something..90% chance that I loose family...which I can't afford to loose. I may have to struggle with limited resources with several years. I may not earn during there 10 years.

Indians care a lot about family life. Our system of single marriage, supporting children up to adult age supporting parent at old age. These limit freedom of thought and act. So our brains are tuned to live a balanced life. The society expects that their children will keep this balance. We rarely take risks.
We always try to play safe. We never walk the way untraveled.

My World tour

I recently visited Antarctica, the earth's south pole, Hawaii islands, Amazon forests, Niagara water fall's, U.S, Jerusalem, and Italy.

My trip started from Antarctica..I directly landed in The south pole first, I could see national flags of many countries placed all over there. U.S , UK, Japan..all have their national flags there...the place is a frozen desert...Exactly at the center of south pole they have placed a pole, they call it the ceremonial south pole..I visited a few huts built by early explorers from England in 1904, Visited Ross island, penguins...etc...Due to time constraints I left Antarctica with in few minutes...

The next Trip was to Hawaii Islands in the US. Such a beautiful place. If there's heavens anywhere, it is one of them. I felt like sleeping on the seashores of Hawaii...so scenic...so scenic...watched the smoking volcano's of Hawaii and left to Amazon forests..

I landed in the dense rain forests of Amazon. It reminded me of rain forests of Kerala. Actually Kerala is equally dense everywhere. I traveled through the rivers of Amazons. After visiting the Tumbira Community of Amazons I left for Niagara water falls.

I reached Niagara within seconds, as my flight was traveling at the speed of light. The waterfall is so wide and so beautiful..it is indeed a wonderful sight. From there I went to the great USA.

I landed at the Space needle in the Seattle. Visited Golden gate bridge, Times Square, South Las Vegas Boulevard and atlast The Washington mall. From there I took flight to Jerusalem, Israel.

I landed at the mount of Olives. I saw a magnificent view of the old Jerusalem from there. Headed to Gathsamen, the place where Jesus Christ's disciples are said to have prayed before crucifixion. Visited the site where Jesus was crucified. From there I went to Tel Aviv and took next flight to Italy.

I landed at the center of Colosseum, Rome, Italy. The famous stadium was built in 80 CE. Gladiatorial combats used to happen here centuries back. It reminded me of the famous dialogue from the gladiator movie....

"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, a loyal servant to the true Emperor Marcus Aurelius, father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife and I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next".


With this I ended the small but beautiful trip..and returned.

You might me thinking...what the hell....yes I visited all these places on a single day....
It was my long cherished wish to go on a world tour. I did it yesterday.....with-the-help-of Google Street View...  :)

World's first self chilling beer can's to hit markets.

I read this news first in a local daily news paper.  I was surprised..amazed..and excited...Ask me why..
I was also thinking about this technology..how to make it possible.. for several years since I shifted to my family house.

My mother will not allow to store beer can's in our kitchen refrigerator...Kerala police will catch, fine and jail if you drink in  a party or bar and drive home. So having beer was a distant reality...or nearly impossible.
I tried several tricks...even tried smuggling can's to my bed room from boot of car in my porch..


But you know...if you drink in your bed room in the fear that you can be caught red handed....you know..that's not so relaxing...you will need several cans to relax effectively...

As you all know "necessity is the mother of all invention". I think CEO Mr. Joseph of Joseph Company International might have faced similar problems in life which lead him to this greatest inventions of the century...If not he..I would have done this...thanks for Mr. Joseph..


Yes I consider this as a great invention..not because it allows me to drink chilled beer but..its environment friendly also.

Mobile Credit Card Transation using OTP

Today I made my first Mobile transaction using OTP. OTP stands for One Time Password.

From 2011 Feb onwards I was  not able to do Credit card transations using mobile due to a new rule from Reserve Bank of India. The rule says you can not do online credit card transactions without 3D secure passwords.

Its a good move from RBI. Even if you loose your Credit Card, nobody use it for online transactions without your secret password.

That's about online web transactions..what about mobile transactions...?? Mobile world  does not yet support alpha numeric 3D Secure password.. only numeric passwords....

For mobile world the corresponding technology is OTP. To do any CC transaction from mobile your need to first generate a One Time Password ( OTP ). Its numeric..can be used only once...even if the transaction is failed.

To generate OTP you need to send an SMS to a designated number. Number and message format varies from bank to bank.

You will get a message with your OTP. OTP should be used with in 2 hours after generating it. After 2 hours its invalid.

Ok. Good... If your Credit Card is stolen nobody can misuse it for doing mobile transactions.Great!!

Question to RBI: What  if Credit Card and Mobile is stolen...??? Isn't that possible ???

I was just wondering what are these images... I knew for sure that these were targeted for mobile phones. But noting more than that. What are they used for? How are they used?...

Most of you at some point of time definitely must have come across these boxes with black and white patterns. You generally find it in newspaper advertisements...Flex boards placed on highways....

Yesterday I figured out that these are bar codes designed for mobile phones. The bar code reader is your camera mobile phone.

I tried it..its really interesting.. you can read these QR barcodes with your mobile phone....just that you need to install a bar code reader software. Which can be freely downloaded from internet.


The interesting part is that you can create these codes you own..there are many web sites which offer this service.

New Year 2011

Happy New Year 2011!!

Interesting to know that I am in a new year. But as usual I don't see anything different. Just another day.
Last year also lots of things happened in my life..eventful year it was....

It was last year that I got married to my lovely wife....I came back to native town...settled at my home with family .. this was totally unexpected.

Last year I started using facebook. Played FarmVille ..with family.

I did not blog for almost 6 months last year......I am no longer online in gtalk 24X7 as I don't have gtalk access in office.

First time I visited Munnar in my life time..and thus high range areas in Kerala.

Five of my close friends got married last year.

And the final surprise last year was that I got a mystery gift in December!!

My grantfather had an Elephant

Don't be fooled by the title...this is a statement generally made by people in Kerala to show off. The actual story is different.

It was to days before  Christmas... I was on leave..I got up late as usual...After brushing my teeth I was having a tea at the kitchen veranda... An elephant showed up in the empty plot next to my house.

This elephant works in the sawmill near by and takes bath in a stream near by my house. So he is not a stranger to me...but today he was doing something strange. He got in to the empty plot next to my house and started plucking coconut tree leaves.... it was interesting to watch.

Lot of natives gathered to see the elephant..most of them are villagers who are free most of the week days...they are directing the whole show..showing the elephant and the mahout which leaf can be plucked next.

It was more interesting to me because the elephant came very close to my house. Me, wife and mother all were watching his actions. He is very obedient...does exactly what the mahout says.

We took a lot of photographs and videos...watched till he left the scene with all the coconut tree leaves collected.

Bangalore to Ernakulam by car on a Hartal day

Friday evening...I was dreaming about going home next day morning by car....I planned everything...serviced the car..Filled full tank petrol..packed all my baggage.

Suddenly a call came...It was one of my friends in Cochin.He told me that the Left party called for a Hartal tomorrow in Kerala protesting against the fuel price hike by central govt.

A Hartal in Kerala means..Holiday..except that some crazy jobless people will block traffic and throw stones at vehicles..Even though its illegal to call for a Bandh day...when ruling party itself does the same, who to blame for...

Initially I thought all my plans went in vein..but later I decided to go ahead and face the Hartal..
My journey is around 550km...out of this 400km is through Tamil Nadu and remaining 150km through Kerala.

I was pretty sure that Kerala people have become so lazy even to do proper Hartal....So its highly unlikely that somebody will wait for me on the road and stop me...instead they may sit at home or waste time..

I started my journey at 5 AM early morning..with my friend as per the plan..

Bangalore to Salem...through NH-7..we passed 200km in 2.5 hours..That could be a record..as per my friend who used to travel... Driving was thrilling...the road is so smooth and straight that you can press down the gas pedal fully down...80..100..120...130..my car started vibrating like anyting...the steering wheel is floating.. yeah...I guess that's the max. I can speed in my cute little car..

We Had breakfast at Salem...Next is Salem-Coimbatore..road is pretty good..but when I reached near to the Coimbatore-Palakkad by-pass..the NH is blocked..due to some international function going on in there...We had to travel through some small interior roads to finally enter the bypass.. But once I reached the bypass...things were totally different..60km straight stretch..no vehicles on the road. I can see atleast 5km road ahead. Except for toll booths, I didnt have to stop anywhere else.

Very soon we reached  Palakkad..anybody with reasonable eye sight can easily feel the difference once we cross the Kerala border..yeah!..its green ..green everywhere.

We were actually looking for Hartal crew..unfortunately we found none..all shops are closed..nobody on the road. We could find some police men at the junctions...they are totally bored...

Palakkad-Thrissur is the next stretch...road is too bad..more pot holes and less road..that's the situation.
Since there were no much traffic..I could somehow manage the pot holes and reach Trissur. So far I couldn't find a single Hartal crew...they must be really sleeping...as the climate is too good to leave your bed room.

Next is Trissur - Ernakumlam.. the NH is partly under construction..its a mix of good and bad roads..it started drizzling a bit..And again no Hartal crew..they must be sleeping.. But when I reached Angamaly...one monkey suddenly jumped in front of my car..he is wearing a dhoti and shirt..I can see that he has a stone in this right hand..I am actually at 100km per hour..he is waving his hands to stop. He must be a Hartal crew.

I thought for a moment that this is his last day on earth..as I can certainly not stop before I hit him...
and I don't have the intention to stop either.. I didn't stop..he might have seen heaven for a second...

And I guess he might have gone back home and hugged his family..I wish if he could take an oat
not to step on National Highways on Hartal days at least..as people like me never use break pedals on Hartal days..

I reached home well before schedule....So guys... if you are planning for a long car drive in Kerala wait for a Hartal day..and don't care about the monkeys on National Highways...

A note to the leader who called for this Hartal:

My dear old man..you are too old..go to hell..you don't have vision..you are not a leader..but a
lazy idiot. Please, never ever do this to the younger generation. No country can grow by a Hartal.
You need to work day and night to develop a nation...I doubt you have ever done that in your life..

SCRABBLE is Addictive

SCRABBLE... we have this game board in our office. Fun club bought this game for employees. It all started with the Scrabble competition... I am hearing for the first time about this game when I received the fun club mail...I normally don't pay much attention to these mails.

But the tallest guy is my team laughed at me for not knowing about this game. I argued...with him. Its not required to know!!

I see people sitting around a chess like board arranging letters in some weird manner...who cares.
Crazy people!!! Daily after I take my evening tea..I will take a look at this madness for a moment and leave...

Days passed...one day..when I was doing my daily look.. I started suggesting words to a friend...some of them worked...I did this often there after....I realized the pleasure you get when you form words that connects... Heeeahhh.. Its interesting.....

Then another day... I sat down to play a game... I learned the rules....I made words that connects...some of my words are strange..I myself don't know the meaning....But if you can convince..you can make new words :)

Nowadays I find myself playing this game quite often...its addictive...

So my dear friends never start playing this game... Its like like any other addiction....stay away!!

He is cooking

Yes.. He is cooking...."He" is none other than "Me..Myself and Irene.." Sorry... Irene is not there....That's actually the name of a Jim Carrey movie... Its just me..and myself. :)

So what is he cooking.....I am a lazy cook.. lazy people prefer more with less effort... So my recipes are simple and scientific....all the items that I cook will have almost similar ingredients. The most common ones I use are green chillies, onions,  mustard seeds, and sun flower oil. Thats it...

So recently I tried a breakfast item... Its called "Uppu mavu" in Malayalam..If you ask me the English word...Its  "Salt mango tree" I don't know if there is any other name  for this in English... I realized that I can prepare this delicious item from my regular ingredients. So I bought some Suji ( Rava ).

First attempt....heated pan, oil, mustard seeds....water, salt.... And then Rava.... I stated stirring..thinking that I will get solid SMT( Salt Mango Tree)... but even after 10 minutes of stirring.. its still liquid....and more than half of Rava is sticking to the pan...Failure.... I tasted a bit ...That's all I got from the pan.

I generally don't give up so easily....

Next  attempt also failed due to excess water...
Third attempt... Last time I had used more water...so this time I should not add more water...heated pan, oil, mustard seeds....water, salt.... And then Rava....  I started stirring....Good..it looks good..then I felt..hey...its called SMT so I should add some more salt isnt it. I added one full spoon salt. Its ready within 5minutes..

I have washed a plate and taken the SMT on it..My mouth is watering...I am really hungry.... I took a spoon full and tasted....Shhhhhhit.... its full of salt... I tried to complete the first spoon..But I had to abort the mission..soon..I threw it in to the waste basket..

I could get it working only after next two trials..Now I can prepare eatable SMT.

So that's how he is cooking.. if you know any recipes..with my ingredients....let me know I will try it.

Infection de la gorge

I am suffering from "Infection de la gorge".... Nothing to be worried....Its common throat infection....

Symptoms are throat irritation, feverishness, sometimes stomach pain.... I was suffering from these symptoms from the last 1 week.

Like any modern Indian guy..I searched Google with my symptoms... I got two suggestion.

1. Increase height of pillow while sleeping..
2. Eat 2 hours before going to sleep. ( Its really hard for me...)

I decided to try some home remedies initially...started sleeping in double pillows, started drinking plenty of water....stopped my regular morning Tea. Cut down the number of teas that I take in office. Its hard.. but I drank hot water instead...Nothing helped.. still same symptoms...

So last Saturday I went to a small clinic nearby.. took medicine for 2 days....

But later I realised that the doctor was fake... he was an Ayurvedic doctor and he prescribed me Antibiotic medicines for two days....It didnt help.... most probably the he don't know the correct dose required.

Waited another two days..and today is a holiday..I decided to go to a proper hospital...But I am new in this place..I don't where  the hospital is.. Again opened Google...searched list of nearby hospitals... Found one very nearby....Met a doctor...told her the complete story....

She told me that there is some kind of infection. It could be either started from throat to stomach or vice versa.

She prescribed the following.

1. Salt water gargling 4 times a day ( this is a MUST )
2. Antibiotics for 5 days.
3. Some pills for stomach ache.

Plus,
Stop eating non-veg, have lot of curd, butter milk..

While coming back from hospital I did some shopping in Reliance fresh mall. Took some bananas and fruits..and then I noticed the ice cream box. Did she tell me to skip ice creams??? No she didn't...I picked up one.

Lets see what happens !!!

How a God takes birth ?

Da Vinci Code....I watched this movie 2 or 3 years after its released.... I never got a chance before...

Interesting .... finally i got to know that Jesus Christ was married had kids... Anyway how does it matter to christanity.... if he is the son of God...he can do anything.... why would man think or decide what God should do...  The Gods, religions..and everything that follows are man made...   man decides and Gods obey...

I was just wondering..how a God of the size Jesus is formed.... God man's are are always there...For instance if we take  India.. there are many living God's...but they never gained the popularity or credibility similar to Jesus....

The reason may be that world is more connected... TV, satellites, telephone and internet. So very less chance for false information like... Blind man was cured by a God.. Yes...If any such incident is reported... you will find videos in youtube... debates in BBC... So spreading a false information is very difficult...or impossible.

People have freedom.... there's no need for a Saviour.... Even if somebody claims to be a saviour there is no resistance...no suffering.. So to prospective Gods... "No pain no gain".

Powerful and popular heroes are born only when there is a  powerful villain.
